Please carefully read these Terms as they contain important information regarding your legal rights, remedies, and obligations. They also serve as an enforceable contract between us.
As stated in the dispute resolution section, by accepting these terms, if you reside in the United States or Canada, you also agree to waive your right to have claims decided by a jury and to participate in class actions. You also agree to resolve all disputes with the defendant in small claims court or through binding individual arbitration only.
The goal of Cybertu is to enhance lives via education. We make it possible for anybody, anywhere, to produce and disseminate instructional materials (instructors) and for students to access and use those learning materials. We consider providing our users with valuable educational content is best achieved through our marketplace model. To ensure the safety of our services and platform for you, us, and the community of instructors and students, we need rules. Your use of the Cybertu website, mobile applications, TV applications, APIs, and other related services (collectively, the “Services”) is governed by these Terms.
You also have to accept the Instructor Terms if you post a course on the Cybertu site. In our Privacy Policy, we also include information on how we handle the personal data of our instructors and students These Terms are incorporated by reference into our Instructor Terms, Privacy Policy, and other Cybertu policies that apply to your use of our Services.
Our apps and website allow you to send communications to third parties that support Cybertu with information about your app usage, browsing history, and other app-related actions. You agree to receive these communications by using our services.
1. Accounts
To purchase and access content or submit content for publication, among other things, you must have an account for the majority of activities on our site. You must provide accurate and complete information, including a working email address when creating and maintaining your account. You are completely liable for your account, everything that occurs on it, and any harm or damage (to us or anyone else) that results from unauthorized use of your account. You should therefore use caution when creating your password. It is prohibited to use another person’s account or transfer your account to another person. If you get in touch with us and ask to see an account, we won’t give it to you until you can give us the documentation we require to verify that you are the account’s legitimate owner. A user’s account will be closed in the event of their passing.
Your account login details are private and cannot be shared with anybody else. You are in charge of what happens with your account, and Cybertu won’t get involved in disputes between instructors and learners over login information. If you suspect any other security breach or suspect someone else may be using your account without your permission, you must contact our Support Team right once to report it to us. To make sure you are the real owner of your account, we can ask for additional information from you.
To register for an account on Cybertu and use the services, teachers and students must be at least eighteen years old. You may not create an account if you are under 18 but older than the legal age of consent to use online services in your country (for instance, 13 in the US or 16 in Ireland). However, we strongly advise you to ask a parent or guardian to help you create an account and enable you to view content that is suitable for your age. You are not permitted to open a Cybertu account if you are younger than the legal age of permission to use internet services. We have the right to cancel your account if we find that you have created an account in violation of our guidelines. Before you are allowed to submit work for publication on Cybertu, you might be asked to provide identity by our Instructor Terms.
You can follow these instructions to terminate your account at any time. To find out what happens when you close your account, check out our privacy policy.
2. Content Enrollment and Lifetime Access
When instructors post content on Cybertu, they provide Cybertu permission to license that content to students under our instructor terms. This implies that we can grant registered pupils a sublicense for the content. Enrolling in a course or other content as a student permits you permission to access it on the Cybertu platform and services, with Cybertu serving as the record licensor. This permission can be obtained for free or for a fee. Content is not sold to you; it is licensed. You are not permitted to resell the content in any way by this license, including by disclosing account information to a buyer or downloading the content unlawfully and posting it on private websites.
Legally speaking, and in a more comprehensively, Cybertu grants you, the student, a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial, educational purposes only, by these Terms and any limitations or conditions about the specific content or feature of our Services. Any other usage is strictly forbidden. Reproduction, redistribution, transmission, assignment, sale, broadcast, rental, sharing, lending, alterations, adaptation, editing, creation of derivative works, sublicensing, and other transfers or usage are prohibited.

When a student enrolls in one of our courses or other pieces of content, they often receive a lifetime access license. However, if we choose to or are required to disable access to the content for legal or policy reasons, we reserve the right to revoke any license to access and use any content at any time. Any other usage is strictly forbidden. 3. Content and Behavior Rules
Accessing, using, or creating an account on the Services for illegal purposes is prohibited. Your activity on our platform and how you use the Services must abide by any applicable local, state, or national laws or regulations in your nation. It is entirely your responsibility to be aware of and abide by any applicable laws and regulations.
As a student, you can publish content reviews and pose questions to the instructors of courses and other courses you are enrolled in through the Services. The instructor may ask you to turn in assignments or assessments for specific topics. Nothing that you share or contribute should not be yours.
We reserve the right to remove your content from our platform if we receive notification that your course or content breaches the law or the rights of others (e.g., if it is proven that it violates someone else’s intellectual property or image rights, or if it discusses illegal activity); if we find that your behavior or content goes against our Trust & Safety Guidelines; or if we think that your behavior or content is illegal, inappropriate, or objectionable (e.g., if you impersonate someone else). When it comes to upholding these Terms and our Trust & Safety Guidelines, Cybertu has the final say. At any time, for any reason, including breaching these terms, failing to pay fees when they are due, fraudulent chargeback requests, at the request of law enforcement or other government agencies, prolonged periods of inactivity, unforeseen technical issues or problems, if we suspect that you engage in fraudulent or illegal activities, or for any other reason in our sole discretion, we may restrict, terminate, or ban your account. In the event of such termination, we reserve the right to remove your content and account, as well as to bar you from using our services and accessing the platforms in the future. If your account is canceled or suspended, your material might still be accessible on the platforms. You acknowledge that if your account is terminated, your material is removed, or your access to our platforms and services is blocked, we won’t be held responsible to you or any third party.
Please notify us if a user has published anything that violates your trademark or copyright. Our teachers must abide by the law and respect other people’s intellectual property rights, according to our instructor’s terms. Refer to our Intellectual Property Policy for further information on how to bring a claim of copyright or trademark infringement against us.
4. Right to Content You Post
The content you post as a student or instructor (including courses) remains yours. By posting courses and other content, you allow Cybertu to reuse and share it but you do not lose any ownership rights you may have over your content. If you are an instructor, be sure to understand the content licensing terms that are detailed in the Instructor Terms.
When you post content, comments, questions, and reviews, and when you submit to us ideas and suggestions for new features or improvements, you authorize Cybertu to use and share this content with anyone, distribute it, and promote it on any platform and in any media, and to make modifications or edits to it as we see fit.
In legal language, by submitting or posting content on or through the platforms, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute your content (including your name and image) in any media or distribution methods (existing now or later developed). This includes making your content available to other companies, organizations, or individuals who partner with Cybertu for the syndication, broadcast, distribution, or publication of content on other media, as well as using your content for marketing purposes. You also waive any rights of privacy, publicity, or other rights of a similar nature applicable to all these uses, to the extent permissible under applicable law. You represent and warrant that you have all the rights, power, and authority necessary to authorize us to use any content that you submit. You also agree to all such uses of your content with no compensation paid to you. Stated differently, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute your content (including your name and image) in any and or distribution methods (now in use or later developed) by submitting or posting content on or through the platforms. This includes granting access to your material to other businesses, groups, or people who collaborate with Cybertu to use it for marketing initiatives and the syndication, broadcasting, distribution, or publication of content on other media. To the extent permitted by relevant law, you also waive any rights of publicity, privacy, or other similar rights applicable to any of these uses. You guarantee and indicate that you possess all the necessary authorization, power, and authority to allow us to utilize any content you provide. Additionally, you consent to any such uses of your content without paying you any money.
5. Cybertu’s Rights
The Cybertu platform and its services, including our website, current and future applications, APIs, databases, and the content submitted or made available through our services by our partners or employees (Expect content supplied by teachers and students), are and will always be the sole property of Cybertu and its licensors. Copyright, trademark, and other laws from the US and other countries protect our platforms and services. The use of the Cybertu name or any of its trademarks, logos, domain names, and other distinguishing brand elements is prohibited. It is completely voluntary for you to submit any feedback, comments, or recommendations about Cybertu or the Services, and we shall be free to utilize them however we see fit and without requiring you to do so.
It is prohibited for you to do any of the following when using the Cybertu platform and its services:
- access, alter, or use Cybertu’s computer systems, the technical delivery networks of Cybertu’s service providers, or private sections of the site (including content storage).
- Disable, tamper with, or attempt to get around any security-related elements of the platforms, or investigate, scan, or test the vulnerability of any of our systems.
- No content on the Cybertu platform or Services may be copied, altered, transformed into a derivative work, reverse engineered, reverse assembled, or in any other way attempted to be found through source code discovery.
- access, search, or attempt to search our platform using any other method (automated or not) than our search functions that are currently available through our mobile applications, website, or API (and only by those terms and conditions for the API). It is prohibited for you to use robots, scrapes, spider webs, or any other type of automated method to gain access to the Services.
- in any way use the Services to transmit modified, fraudulent, or false source-identifying information (for example, sending emails pretending to be from Cybertu); or try to interfere with, disrupt, or interfere with in any way use the Services to send modified, false, or misleading source-identifying information (e.g., sending emails purporting to be from Cybertu); or disrupt, interfere with, or attempt to disrupt, any user’s, host’s, or network’s access. This includes, but is not limited to, sending viruses, overloading, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing the platforms or services; or engaging in any other activity that interferes with or places an excessive burden on the Services.
6. Account Management
By following the instructions on our Support Page, you can terminate your subscription. Your access to a subscription plan will automatically expire on the last day of your monthly cycle if you decide to cancel your membership it. Unless otherwise mandated by applicable legislation, you will not be eligible to receive a refund or credit of any money previously paid for your subscription upon termination. To be clear, stopping a subscription does not mean that your Cybertu account is closed.
